Events Calendar
MCTU depends on the volunteer efforts of our members and friends to accomplish our goals. We plan regular meetings for the third Wednesday of each Month and workdays as projects present themselves. Come to a meeting or a workday to see how you can help out.
Sunday October 5th - Mother Earth Harvest Festival. - This is a wonderful opportunity for MCTU to showcase our accomplishments, talk with festival-goers and sell chapter merchandise. We may even pick up a few members. The Festival location is in Glen Rock and lasts from 10am until 6pm. If you would care to accompany someone at our booth please volunteer. Currently we only have one volunteer. You don't need to be an expert on MCTU. Just bring a smile and a positive attitude. There is no cost to volunteers. Please consider helping during this event or with the set up before 9am the day of the event. Return an email if you would like more information. www.motherearthharvestfair.com
Tuesday October 7th - C&R FFO Area Stocking - The PF&BC fall stocking of the Fly Area stocking will occur around noon on Tuesday October 7th. This is the one where we use a bucket brigade to get the fish over the hill near Burce. We need all hands on deck for this one. We will also need volunteers to float stock as well as carry buckets. We plan to meet at 9:00am where we will get the Chapters holdover trout ready for stocking and prepare the equipment. With enough manpower we may be able to accomplish another lite stocking before the State gets here. Bring boots if you plan to float stock or help with the nursery loading.

Wednesday October 8th - Co-op Nursery Stream Project begins. - We are scheduled to begin the construction of a cross-rock vane and bank grading on October 8th. It should continue for several days. We are looking for volunteers to help with support duties. Gloves sturdy boots and or hip waders are recommended. Return an email if you are available to help.

MCCTU/PF&BC Co-operative Raceway
The Raceway is located near Brogue on the west branch of Tom's Run.
From the North and West; Take route 74 south out of Red Lion for approximately 7 miles to the village of Brogue. Make a right at the Brogue Store. Travel 2 miles toward Muddy Creek Forks. and Make a left onto Sechrist Road. Take Sechrist 1 mile to the end. The raceway is directly ahead of end of Sechrist Road.
From the South & East; Take route 74 north out of Delta/Peach Bottom or from Route 372 out of Lancaster Co. About 6 miles from route 372 Junction with Route 74, is a four way intersection in Brogue. Take the left at the Brogue Store. Travel 2 miles toward Muddy Creek Forks and make a left onto Sechrist Road. Take Sechrist 1 mile to the end. The raceway is directly ahead of end of Sechrist Road.
